Terra Aqua
You could have let me know
A long time ago
That your road never merged
That your headlights never faced home.
I lost something in the grey roads between the blue
Of here and there
Twilight permeating my wanderings
It gives me the
feeling of forever
But I keep bouncing against the stratosphere.
An old woman once
told me
Let gravity work for
you
Things have a way of
shuffling
On the way down.
You never end up
With the same pattern you began with
When you lock claws with your devils
And wrestle them in the fading light
As the angels watch
The seven heavens, preoccupied -
Light years away, like blue getting lost,
On its way to the earth.
